NOVAX Partners with Future Neo to Launch Japan’s First i-Depot System
Successfully Passes Local Fire Safety Inspection and Begins Operation at Kanehide Group’s Gas Station in Okinawa
TAIWAN / OKINAWA, JAPAN — NOVAX Material & Technology Inc. continues to expand its international footprint in smart dispensing solutions. In collaboration with its Japanese partner, Future Neo, NOVAX has successfully installed Japan’s first i-Depot smart AdBlue dispensing system in Okinawa.

The system has successfully passed the required inspection by the local fire department in accordance with Japanese fire safety regulations and has officially begun operation at Kanehide SS Onaha, a gas station operated by Kanehide Group, one of Okinawa’s leading diversified business groups.
This milestone marks a significant step in NOVAX’s expansion into the Japanese market.
Japan’s First i-Depot Successfully Deployed
Japan maintains stringent regulations governing equipment, storage facilities, and fire safety at gas stations. For this project, the i-Depot system underwent comprehensive localization covering equipment planning, on-site installation, system integration, and regulatory compliance to meet local operational and safety requirements.
The successful completion of the fire safety inspection demonstrates not only the system’s readiness for the Japanese market, but also NOVAX’s ability to adapt its technology and engineering solutions to different regulatory environments and operating conditions.

Partnering with Future Neo and Kanehide Group
The first i-Depot system in Japan has been installed at Kanehide SS Onaha, operated by Kanehide Group, a prominent Okinawa-based business group with operations spanning retail, construction, energy, tourism, hospitality, and other sectors.
Through its partnership with Future Neo, NOVAX has introduced the i-Depot system into an actual commercial gas station environment, providing an important opportunity to demonstrate the system’s operational stability, ease of use, and integrated capabilities.
The installation also serves as NOVAX’s first showcase site for i-Depot in Japan, laying the foundation for further market expansion.
